But relying on employers to “do the right thing” is a recipe for disaster. As so many millions of people learned during the pandemic, your employer doesn’t work for you. We’re  shifting the power back to workers

The pandemic really messed up a lot of people’s lives and careers. But it also opened some incredible opportunities for workers all around the world.

Learning a few key skills gives you lifetime career flexibility

It’s probably time I introduced myself.

I’m Matt, an MBA, and I’m a creative. And I don’t really fit into a “box.” Here are just some examples of the work I’ve been hired to do:

How could I have possibly done all these things? Because I’ve learned the key skills needed to consistently land rewarding creative work.

That’s allowed me to strategically bounce from full-time to freelance work. And then I’ve gone back to full-time work as needed. Now I’m sharing these skills with as many creatives as possible.

See, I was working at one of the fastest-growing marketing agencies in Southern California. Previously, I’d worked as a freelancer for startups, enterprise, and even a dude selling handmade organic dog treats.

It was in this role I started to realize how the professional world is kinda… borked. Creatives aren’t always valued for the contributions they make. And some employers are still stuck in the 90s when it comes to benefits. (If I hear, “You should just be glad to have a job,” ever again, I’m gonna barf.)

I realized that most creatives stay in their roles like that until they possibly can’t take any more. Then they rage-quit and find themselves panicking because they’re out of work. 

Not fun.

So I decided to do something for creatives.
